Nike facing a wave of responses on social media, a backlash from protesters and support from people backing their new ad campaign for the 30th anniversary of "Just Do it", because one of its featured faces is Colin Kaepernick. The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback has been a polarizing figure ever since he decided not to stand for the national anthem during a 2016 NFL preseason game to protest racial injustice.

A listener of "The Todd Starnes Show" was so outraged by Nike's decision to make Colin Kaepernick a featured face of their 30th anniversary campaign, he called the program and set his Nike shoes on fire, live on air!

Listen to "Jerry from Nashville" explain why he was destroying his shoes and listen to the flames kick in!
