New York Governor Andrew Cuomo facing a firestorm of criticism after making a comment at an event seemingly meant as a dig at President Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan. Cuomo saying "we're not going to make America great again, it was never that great." His press secretary clarifying the governor's comments, "The Governor believes America is great and that her full greatness will be fully realized when every man, woman and child has full equality. America has not yet reached its maximum potential." President Trump describing Cuomo's remarks as "a total meltdown."
Todd Starnes opened a recent show by saying Gov. Cuomo is just another in a long line of Democrats who have made hateful statements about America.
"We're going to call out these people, and you have to understand what happening here. They hate freedom, they hate liberty. That's why you have seen the far left take over the Democrat party. They are embracing socialism, the enemy of capitalism. How else can you explain what's coming out of the mouths of people like Andrew Cuomo, and some of those other Democrats who are hating America," Starnes said.
