The California Democratic Party took a hard turn to the left recently when it handed its official endorsement to state Sen. Kevin de Leon instead of Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA), who has served in the U.S. Senate since 1992.
Todd Starnes spoke with John Cox, the GOP candidate for governor of California, about what could happen in the Golden State if Democrats like de Leon and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom win in the general election in November.
"This state is now the leader in poverty in the nation, and Gavin Newsom is trying to make it into the Venezuela of the U.S. and I'm not going to let him. I think the people of this state aren't going to let him either," Cox said.
