Todd Starnes spoke to Hogan Gidley, White House Deputy Press Secretary, and Ronna McDaniel, Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, about Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy announcing his retirement handing President Trump a historic opportunity to reshape the court
"The President just said in the Oval that Justice Kennedy came by with a letter and met with him to have this conversation. The President thanks him for his thirty years of distinguished service on the court. You serve on the highest court in the land, there's obviously some honor and some distinction with that and the President thanked him for his service," Gidley said.
"Obviously, this is monumental, and not just for the elections, but for our country. We know the Supreme Court has a lasting impact for generations to come, and we have seen some very impactful decisions just from this recent term. So to see Justice Kennedy step down and know that Donald Trump will place another Justice on the bench, that amazing," McDainel said.
