Todd Starnes spoke with Rebecca Davis, staff writer for the American Family Association Journal, about the organization's campaign against the Netflix show "13 Reasons Why", which focuses on teen suicide. Davis explained why the show can have a such a dangerous influence on young people.
"We have seen that specifically in the case of Anna Bright, she is a 14-year-old girl from Alabaster, Alabama. After she binge watched the first season of the series, she committed suicide in a way very similar to the main character in the series and that's just one example, there are several more," Davis said.
