Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has been mentioned as a possible candidate to succeed outgoing Rep. Paul Ryan as Speaker Of The House. He joined Todd Starnes to give his take on CIA Director Mike Pompeo's nomination for Secretary of State and the GOP's chances in the midterm elections.
When Starnes asked Rep. Jordan about Sen. Cory Booker's questioning of Pompeo's beliefs on gay marriage, Rep. Jordan said, "What, if you're a conservative these days, if you have a Christian perspective on things, somehow you're disqualified from serving in a public way, in a public role? That just doesn't make sense."
Rep. Jordan then said in order to have Republicans win in the midterms elections they have to "go fight for things." "All too often Republicans want to forfeit before the referee even blows the whistle to start the game," Rep. Jordan added. "Let's not forfeit, let's go have the debate."
