Elizabeth Johnston, a North Carolina parent and blogger who calls herself "The Activist Mommy," is planning a "Sex Ed Sit Out" on April 23. The event has the support of groups like the Family Research Council, and it is being held to protest what Johnston calls "pornographic" subject matter being taught in public schools.

Johnston joined Todd Starnes on his radio show and told him about how taxpayer money was being used to fund these programs. "We have educational bureaucrats who have decided that their school funding is more important than protecting our child's innocence," she said.

President of Family Research Council, Tony Perkins, joined the program and said, "...this is happening all over, and so that's why we're so grateful for what Elizabeth is doing with this "Sex Ed Sit Out" day on April 23rd."
