President Trump signed a proclamation Wednesday night to send the National Guard to the southern border.

Todd Starnes spoke with Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), who recently voiced his support for President Trump's plan to put the National Guard on the southern border to fight illegal immigration.

Saying "a country that can't defend its borders is not a country," Rep. Brooks said, "it's a shame we've gotten to this point in American history, but if that's what's necessary, then we have to use our military to protect our borders."
