Wednesday on "The Todd Starnes Show," Starnes welcomed the Second Lady of the United States Karen Pence and Second Daughter Charlotte Pence, who have collaborated on the new children's book called Marlon Bundo's Day in the Life of the Vice President, which gives a rabbit-eye's view of what the duties of the office of the Vice President are.

Second Daughter Charlotte Pence told Starnes about why John Oliver's decision to donate the proceeds of his parody of the Pences' book to charity led her to buy her own copy,  and described the things she hearing about the Pences' book from young readers across the country.

Second Lady Karen Pence then told Starnes about how her love of paining led to her creating the illustrations in the book, and how important it was to mention prayer in the book as well.

Starnes also asked how the Pence family deals with attacks on their faith, to which she responded, "It kind of comes with the territory when we got into this profession.  The way we deal with it it is to focus on the positive. You just have to understand that those things are going to be attacked and just stand strong."
