Monday on "The Todd Starnes Show," Starnes spoke with Jentezen Franklin, the senior pastor of Free Chapel. Franklin wrote the new book, Love Like You've Never Been Hurt: Hope, Healing and the Power of an Open Heart. Franklin told Starnes about the healing power of love during time of martial and family strife and how the worst times in a person's life can bring out the best in them.

Franklin also told Starnes how it's easy for people to love people when there is no adversity, but it's more challenging when "love has been through the fire." Franklin and Starnes also took a call from a listener seeking advice about how to deal with family who can hurt over and over again, which led Franklin to advise, "forgiveness is not about keeping score, it's about losing count."
