It’s a common question lots of single women ask: where are all the good guys at? Judith Joshel, author of “Where are the Good Guys,” says it may be wise for singletons to get off line and meet people in person.

She says to start looking where lots of men congregate.

“A lot of guys are into sports so if you go to a sports bar and watch a big game there is likely to be a lot of guys there. If you’re friendly and will talk to guys you might meet somebody,” Joshel says.

Joshel says that volunteering is another great way to meet someone, because you surround yourself with people who share your passion.

Also, you might see your “Mr. Right” every day in passing, and not realize it.

“If you will take your eyes off your screen, off your phone, off your tablet and be aware of the people around you there might be a really cute guy standing behind you at Starbucks and you can just ask him have you ever tried the caramel mocha latte.”

When looking for love, it’s about casting a wide net because you never know who you’ll meet.
