CNN, the nation's Fake News leader, has reached an all-time low -- using a beloved children's character to attack President Trump's temporary travel ban.
The network produced a bizarre Facebook Live Chat that featured CNN reporter Clarissa Ward, Sherrie Westin from Sesame Street, International Rescue Committee's David Miliband and Elmo - a hand puppet.
"They like to play and learn just like Elmo and all his friends at Sesame Street," Elmo said during the interview. "Elmo thinks it's important to know that everybody is the same deep down and that's very important."
CNN reported that Elmo visited a Syrian refugee camp - calling the trip "really wonderful."
Miliband weighed in on the president's temporary travel ban.
"It's worth saying, perhaps especially today that this country, the US, receives very few refugees and there's a lot of fear and loathing being put out," he said.
Refugees that wage jihad are prone to generate lots of fear and loathing. Just ask the folks who live in Germany and France and Belgium and England.
I suppose it was only a matter of time before CNN turned a beloved PBS character into a propaganda puppet.
As DailyWire.com noted, Elmo conveniently left out the part about how the ban is only temporary - and how it only applies to countries that are infested with radical Islam.
Elmo also left out the part about how President Trump implemented the temporary ban to keep all the little puppets on Sesame Street from getting blown to smithereens.
This is what has become of the once respected CNN -- reduced to interviewing guests who has a hand stuck up his backside.
And this is why I support President Trump's plan to defend PBS. If Elmo wants to tickle somebody - let him do it on his own dime.
