Donohue: Coulter, Jeffress Are ‘Anti-Catholic Bigots’

Monday on "The Alan Colmes Show," Alan spoke with Catholic League President Bill Donohue about the comments exchanged between Donald Trump and Pope Francis and the effect they've had on the 2016 race for the White House.

Donohue said that by taking on the Pope while campaigning in South Carolina, Donald Trump was helping his chances to win the Republican primary there, which he eventually did. Donohue also called out Trump supporters Ann Coulter, who he called a "mean-spirited, rampant anti-Catholic bigot," and Pastor Robert Jeffress, who Donohue said was "a bigot" who called "the Catholic Church the voice of Satan," and explained to Alan where on the political spectrum some of the Church's views fall.
