Rick Perry and Mitt Romney have to figure out how to compete with each other without slashing each other so bad that Obama gets a walk back into the White House.
It's unfair to attack Romney over Romneycare because a statewide health insurance plan was going to be passed by far left liberal in the Bay State. If Romney had veto'd it, they would have overridden the veto. He did what he could to make it less egregious than it would have been. He was a moderate conservative governing a far left liberal state. Cut him some slack.
Same with Perry and immigration in Texas. Yes, he's conservative but bear in mind he's got a whole bunch of Mexicans in his state. And the legal Mexican Americans tend to feel threatened when the government goes after the illegals. So Perry thinks the fence is dumb and he gives instate tuitition to Mexican illegals who were brought to Texas by their parents. So what? Any of you hard right anti immigration people looked at the geography of the Texas border with Mexicod? It's obvious the fence doesn't work everywhere.
So c'mon guys. Figure out other ways to go after each other.
