A former "Teacher of the Year" in Florida - suspended over a posting something on his own personal Facebook page.

"He was eating dinner, at his home - and this was going on last July when NY was legalizing gay marriage - and some images of two guys making out popped up on the TV screen - so he sent a Facebook message out talking about how watching something like that made him want to throw up... and then he mentioned some bible verses talking about how gay marriage is a sin..."

FOX News Radio's Todd Starnes, speaking with Chip Franklin at KOGO in San Diego.

A few weeks later - someone saw the post - and called the school to complain.

As a result - Jerry Buell - now faces losing his job!

Even better - the complaint - came from:

"The person who complained was a student at the school back in the year 2002."

But! According to Starnes -

"I asked the school - I said - well if he was supportive of gay marriage - would you have had an issue - and they said they would not have had an issue... so this is about gay marriage."

This definitely isn't the last time we'll hear of this story.
