#Twoppics – Sports: NFL, Tiger Woods, NBA 2K12

Twoppics, taking a look at what people on Twitter are saying about the hottest sports stories of the day...

Audio clip:

The NFL is getting closer to a season.  Closer...but not quite there.  The owners have approved a new Collective Bargaining Agreement by a 31-0 count... Only an hour after that announcement from Commissioner Roger Goodell wrapped up, the Players Association was set to vote on the proposal.  One hiccup...the Players say they don't have a copy of the proposal, and NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith actually emailed the Players saying there are still unresolved issues and NO deal is in place.  Need a reminder of the amount of money at play...check out @barryap1...

While @robdelaney doesn't see why there's all the hubbub...

The Players have been all but unemployed since lockout began 132 days ago.

Speaking of being out of a job, Tiger Woods' caddie is available, though he likely won't be on the unemployment line for long... FOX News Radio's Ron Flatter reporting.  The Twittersphere is actually very mixed on this move.  @newyscruggs isn't backing Williams one bit...

@PeytonsHead is joking, as usual...

and @pourmecoffee has a suggestion for who Tiger should turn to now...

Finally tonight, the Madden curse is pretty well-known...appear on the cover of the football video game, suffer a season-ending injury.  Should be no such curse this year for NBA 2K12, however.  Three covers have been unveiled for this year's edition, all featuring retired legends: Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.  @HitBoy_SC sees a problem with that...

@PfromHtown wants to see the Finals MVP on the cover...

While @thefarmerjones questions MJ's ownership skills...

I'm @Chris_Hoenig and those are your hot #Twoppics on FOX News Radio.
