A footnote to history. Remember that taxpayer revolution in Wisconsin against rapacious public sector employee unions? The story kinda disappeared for a while, doncha know. Well, it popped up again this morning when the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that a certain law stands, that it passed constitutional muster. Which law? Why the one that limits the collective bargaining rights of public employee unions over pension and health care issues. Remember how that one fired up the Dems and the unionists and how they laid siege to Wisconsin for weeks?
Well, it's over. The law is now the law, according to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. And it's a great victory for American taxpayers. No longer will their pockets be picked by public sector unions looking for fat pensions and better medical coverage than that received by the taxpayers who are footing the bill for public employees.
