A massive tornado killed dozens of people in Missouri yesterday and nearly destroyed the entire city of Joplin.  Some bloggers and media outlets are blaming climate change for the extreme weather we've seen so far this year.  What's really going on?  And will a steady stream of deadly tornadoes and flooding become the new norm in the US?  Meteorologist Joe Bastardi joins Tom.

Too Much Scrutiny?

Popular Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels has decided not to run for president in 2012.  The decision was reportedly made to avoid talking about his on-again, off-again, on-again relationship with his wife.  Meanwhile, presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is taking heat over a credit card!  Are candidates getting too much media scrutiny?  And is it possible to win a national election with a "skeleton in the closet" or a "black sheep" in the family?

Americans Being "Suckered"?

Radio preacher Harold Camping predicted last Saturday would be the end of the world -and a lot of people believed him.  Meanwhile, a growing anti-authority movement called "sovereign citizens" is encouraging people flout the laws and commit violent crimes against police officers.  Are these trying economic times making some people more susceptible to crazy predictions and schemes?  Tom wonders why so many Americans are being "suckered"...
