A British elementary school has determined that the word "brownie" is racist.

According to The Daily Mail, a 10-year-old boy named Harrison Weiner was taunted by another child who called him "Sausage Boy." So Harrison called the boy, who is white and whose last name is Brown, "Chocolate Brownie."

Harrison was ordered to the principal's office where he received a reprimand and was reported to local education authorities for using "racist language."

His mother, Clare Wiener, told The Daily Mail she was confused.

"How can calling a white boy named Brown a chocolate brownie be racist?" she asked.

Her son was ordered to apologize to the boy -- who -- by the way -- was not punished for calling Weiner a sausage.
