Your twoppic of the moment... is a new career goal for Cookie Monster.  Yup, that's right...the big blue baked goods aficionado is following in Betty White's footsteps, hoping a social media campaign, complete with a YouTube audition tape, will get him a hosting gig on SNL.  Some aren't sold on the idea...@karthur tweets "I think Cookie Monster can do better than SNL. Does anyone still watch it?"  Others are inspired, though...@daydream10 tweets "And if Cookie Monster can campaign to get on SNL, then so can I."

Giving thanks...the day before we give thanks.  Your twoppic of the day is Thanksgiving Eve.  The Twitter-verse is alive with tweeps discussing plans for tomorrow, giving thanks a little early, and debating the best ways to cook a turkey.  Rockers @TheFray tweet "Happy Thanksgiving Eve America. It's going to be a good one. I can feel it. To the rest of the world, Happy November 24th."

19 years ago today, just 24 hours after publicly announcing he had AIDS, your top twoppic died...  Queen frontman Freddie Mercury passed away on November 24, 1991.  Mercury's partner, Jim Hutton, claims Mercury tested H-I-V positive in 1987, though Mercury denied and avoided rumors of his illness for 4 years.  As the singer and songwriter for Queen, Mercury was the voice behind 18 No. 1 albums, 18 No. 1 singles, and over 300 million album sales.  @leannejx tweets "RIP Freddie; Legends live forever."
