Outrage in the skies...
Pilots AND passengers - infuriated over stepped up security screening at airports.
TSA Official: "We're going to be a groin check. That means I'm going to place my hand on your hip - my other hand on your inner thigh - and slowly go up and slide down - I'm going to do that 2 times in the front and 2 times in the back."
Passenger John Tyner: "You can do that out here - but if you touch my junk I'm going to have you arrested."
That exchange - caught by a California man - on his cell phone video camera...
The man - John Tyner - was denied boarding because he refused to take part in a new layer of airport screening at a security check point.
The screening - NOW includes pat-downs and full body scanners.
Dr. Dave McIntyre - Vice President of Homeland Security for the National Graduate School - isn't such a fan:
"I'm very concerned about the invasiveness of this technology. I don't like the fact that we're going to do this to 8 year old girls. And what I really don't like - is that this may be the tip of the iceberg. If this kind of technology works at an airport - why not put it at every high school where you know you have weapons going... and why not check every 14 year old girl."
McIntyre continued with Stan and Charity at WOAI in San Antonio:
"I don't like this even a little bit. And so I am eager for the next step in technology which I know TSA is working on - which will remove the body entirely from the image. Let's just see the anomalies - that's what I want us to get on with."
The security ramp up - comes in the wake of foiled terrorism plots at airports.
With the holiday travel season on approach - will YOU be among the outraged?
