Nancy Pelosi - she won't be Speaker of the House come January... but don't count her out just yet.

Pelosi - announcing that she will try to keep her position as leader of the House Democrats - making a run for the Minority Leader of the House.

"You know - Nancy had the most productive Congress since 1965 - and rose to the highest power of any American Woman - and again those historical gains of 2006 - so she's well positioned to take this position."

That was President of the Women's Campaign Forum - Sam Bennett - speaking with Jamie Allman at affiliate KFTK in St. Louis, MO.

But Pelosi that's not the way it usually happens.....

"You know Jim, how unusual this is - it's more traditional for the Speaker of the House - if turned out - to actually retire... not just to leave the speakership - which he or she would have to do - but actually leave the Congress. And so there's a lot of precedent being broken here."

Fox News Political Analyst Jeff Birnbaum - speaking with Jim Polito at WTAG in Worcester, MA.

...and with Pelosi vying for the "Top Spot" in the minority - the number two job - House Minority Whip -- appears to be going to Maryland Congressman Steny Hoyer.

Buzzing on...

Following that Democratic upset in the House on Election night - President Obama makes a trip to Asia.

The first stop - New Delhi, India.

Is the stop strictly business? ...Or also  cultural?

That question - asked of Fox News White House Correspondent Mike Majchrowitz - by Bob Connors at WTVN in Columbus, OH.

"Kind of a combination. You know - business being a top thing here. The President wants to open up more of India's markets to US products. The Indians have wanted to see the US ease restrictions that we place on sensitive technologies."

The President - will be attending two World Economic Summits - and will be making stops in not only India - but also Indonesia, South Korea and Japan on his 10 day long trip.
