In it, bin Laden criticize the Pakistan government, saying it is spending money on their army instead of flood relief. Analysts say the al-Qaeda leader is seeking to exploit the suffering of the millions of devastated flood victims by depicting the government as uncaring. Bin Laden also called for a new relief organization to be created to prevent future flooding, and guarantee food security.
Hot twoppic of the day is Google street view, because the mapping service now spans all 7 continents - it's gone arctic. Finally, a solution for all those times you wished you could see the street view of Antarctica's terrain - now you can navigate mountains and icebergs and even spot several penguin colonies that Google caught on film. The company says it hopes the zoom mapping system will help people learn about areas of the world they have yet to visit. This week the application is also launching in Ireland and Brazil.
