Twoppics, the stories behind the hottest topics on Twitter.
Hot twoppic of the moment and day? That's right, Glee's Britney Spears Episode aired on Tuesday night, and it's all anyone could tweet about (#BritneySpearsGLEE). The cast sang and reenacted some of Britney's most iconic songs and videos, complete with a Britney cameo. Spears live tweeted during the show things like The GLEE version of Toxic is amazing! and Jane Lynch is hilarious and scary all rolled into one. And she earned the series it highest rated episode to date.
Hot twoppic of the week is Nintendo after the company revealed that gaming in 3-D is only months away. It will start selling the 3DS in the U.S. in March for an expected $299 or less. No glasses are required to see the 3-D effect of the games and videos played on the device, which has a slider control to adjust the amount of "3-D-ness," all the way down to 2-D. And a dual-lens camera on the gadget can be used to take 3-D photos. The company expects to sell 4 million systems and 15 million games for the device by the end of March. For comparison, Apple's iPad sold 2 million units in its first two months.
