Comedian - Steven Colbert made his way to the Hill on Friday - to discuss Farm Labor Issues.
Who thought this was a good idea?
"Who initially thought this was a good idea - was this judiciary subcommittee chairwoman - a women named Zoe Lofgren - from upstate NY. And she did an interview with Colbert this summer - and - but so she did one with him - and they spent a day on the farm - and she thought it would be a good idea if he joined this panel to testify on Friday."
That was Christina Wilkie - The Hill's "In The Know" Columnist - speaking with Helen Glover at WHJJ.
Lofgren's interview with Colbert - according to Wilkie - is a rarity - after Rahm Emanuel's calling to House Democrats to steer clear of Colbert - because he was tearing democrats to pieces in interviews.
He worked on a farm for a day - as part of the United Farm Workers "Take Our Jobs" campaign.
Did he, or didn't he? A suburban Georgia Mega Church Pastor - fighting sexual allegations.
The church - one of the largest in the nation.
"This Pastor - has been accused of doing some inappropriate things with some young men in his congregation. We understand that at least 4 lawsuits have been filed alleging that he took advantage of these young fellahs and did some rather un-Christian like things to these fellahs."
Fox's Todd Starnes - speaking with Bob Conners at WTVN.
Bishop Eddie Long fighting the charges - he denies he did anything wrong - but did not deny the accusations outright. He told his congregation he feels like David... going up against Goliath.
