Twoppics, the stories behind the hottest topics on Twitter.
And the Oscar goes to...Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter, who proved in Wednesday night's game against the Devil Rays that he has quite the acting chops. In the seventh inning an inside pitch hit the knob of Jeter's bat, but Jeter turned it on, screaming in pain and clutching his arm...he was so convincing, the home plate umpire ruled that Jeter was hit by the pitch. Jeter admitted after the game what the replays clearly showed -- that the ball hit his bat, not him. Karma prevailed - the Yankees lost. But his theatrics made Derek Jeter the hot twoppic of the moment.
