Hot twoppic of the moment  the World Cup - the U.S. took on Slovenia on Friday, and had an exciting come-from -behind...tie. Team U.S.A. came from a 2-nothing deficit  with goals by Landon Donovan and Michael Bradley to tie the score 2-2 with 8 minutes to go. The game ended in controversy, many saying the U.S. was robbed of a victory after a questionable call by the ref to disallow the third goal scored by the U.S.  The Americans will face Algeria next Wednesday.

Hot twoppic of the day is the legendary Sir Paul McCartney, who turned 68 on Friday. Beatles fans around the world are tweeting birthday wishes. On the same day, John Lennon's handwritten lyrics to the song "A Day in the Life,"  on the Beatles album "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" were purchased by an American collector for $1.2 million.  The song was banned by the BBC for the line, "I'd love to turn you on," which censors though supported illegal drug use. @silvia_gv tweets Paul Mccartney is now 68: Another year has just passed, but his talent is still young, and his greatness is getting stronger day by day.

Hot twoppic of the week ...the NBA has its champion.  The Lakers now have back-to back championships beating the Boston Celtics in Game 7 Thursday night with a score of 83 - 79. It was MVP Kobe Bryant's fifth title and the LA Lakers 16th championship.
