Day 45 as the oil spill mucks up the Gulf...

And BP continues different methods to try to STOP the leak five thousand feet down on the sea floor.

Following the failure of "TOP KILL" -- the latest move involves capping the opening of the well and siphoning oil to the surface -in order to cap the pipe - they have now cut the pipe with giant scissors to fit the cap....

That was Paul Bommer - Senior Lecturer and PHD of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin speaking with Jim Polito of Fox Affiliate WTAG in Worcester MA.

In the mean time - oil continues to flow- even now reaching Pensacola Florida.

BP's Top executive has acknowledged the companies unpreparedness to fight such a disastrous oil spill...

Also whipping up some buzz today:

Turkey mourning the loss of the activists killed Monday - during an Israeli raid on a Flotilla carrying relief supplies to the blockaded Gaza strip - while Israeli defense officials are now saying many of the passengers aboard the ship had terrorist ties.

That was Director for the Center of Terrorism Law at St. Mary's University - Retired Lt. Col Jeff Addicott who spoke with many of our Fox affiliates today.

Meanwhile - Israel is rejecting demands for an investigation by an international panel into the incident.
