Meryl Streep complicates this week's roundup of DVD releases in the FOXLight. In her latest, It's Complicated, Streep is a baker who has one divorce behind her, a new romance ahead of her and life is sweet...until ex-hubby Alec Baldwin returns for a second chance and finds new love Steve Martin in the picture.

Surrealistic director Terry Gilliam's latest, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, was known more for being the final performance of the late Heath Ledger than its own whimsical premise...which had the title character as the head of a travelling roadshow geared to inspire its audience's imagination, thanks to a deal with the devil. Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell each filled in for their tragically fallen comrade.

Also out this week...

Liam Neeson stars in the BBC-produced Five Minutes of Heaven, as a reformed killer released from prison after 30 years, who is reunited with the brother of the man he killed on a live television talk show.

John Malkovich is a college professor who's fired for seducing one of his students in Disgrace. He finds solace at his estranged daughter's South African farm, until she's brutally attacked before his eyes, bringing his own beliefs and past actions into question.

New to Blu-ray...

1993's Doc Holliday/Wyatt Earp retelling Tombstone, starring Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer...

1998's action-thriller Armageddon, which gave Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton and Ben Affleck 18 days to save the earth...

7-time Academy Award® winner Out Of Africa, the 1985 romancer with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford...

David Lynch's weirdly convoluted 1984 sand meets Sci-Fi effort, Dune.

And TV on DVD includes...

Sitcoms old and new...It's Garry Shandling's Show: The Complete 1st Season; and Sherri: The Complete Season 1...

A double-shot of reality...Ghost Hunters: Season 5, Part 2; and The Hills: Season 5, Part 2...

Weirdo anthology series Tales From The Darkside: The 3rd Season...

And for I Love Lucy: The Movie, 3 1953 episodes of the hit Lucille Ball/Desi Arnaz sitcom were stitched together with newly-filmed sequences to create a movie that got one test screening before being shelved, lost and forgotten about.  Until now.
