When Betty White started trending on Twitter, there was some concern that the funny girl had died. Quite the contrary as it turns out. After a huge Facebook campaign, it was confirmed that Betty White will host "Saturday Night Live" on May 8th. The show will feature appearances by "SNL" veterans  like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, and Maya Rudolph  with musical guest twitter fav,  Justin Bieber. @mhandy1 tweets SNL should just let the veiwers pick every host... Betty White great fan choice. And, she is your hot twoppic of the moment.

In other comedy news, hot twoppic of the day is Conan O'Brien, who announced that he will begin a  30-city comedy tour starting April 12th in Eugene, Ore. The title ? "Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour," referring to his settlement with NBC, which stipulates that he cannot appear on television again until after Sept. 1st. He will be joined on the tour by sidekick Andy Richter and the former "Tonight Show" band. The response was so immediately overwhelming that @ConanOBrien later tweeted We are now adding a second show in both NYC & Chicago. For that second show, I'll be doing all Liza Minnelli songs.

Hot twoppic of the week is Chile, who experienced a major 6.9 aftershock on Thursday morning. A tsunami alert was reissued, but there were no immediate reports of damage, but Chile's new president urged coastal residents to move to higher ground and congress was evacuated from the capital. The country is still recovering from the earthquake that hit Feb 27th.
