Today - you'll surely see a lot of faithful followers walking around with a black cross made of ash on their foreheads. ...the reason? It's Ash Wednesday - the start of lent -- the traditional 40 day period of fasting, prayer and penitence before Easter. And the ash? ...well that's made from last years palms from palm Sunday. It seems a lot of people are really digging the remake of "we are the world" - like AT EVELYN AH BELLA (@evelinabella) who tweets: Loves the song "We are the world 25 for Haiti"! --  recorded as a charity single for the people devastated by the earthquake that hit Haiti in early January. Artists who took part in the remake include, Pink, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, and American Idol season 6 winner Jordin Sparkes.  The original - written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie - which was created to benefit African Famine relief.
