For all intents and purposes, there's really only one essential, crowd-pleasing movie release in this week's FOXLight DVD release roundup.

And the other studios must agree...'cause they've given no competition to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Shia LeBeouf and the omnipresent, and aptly-named Megan Fox return in a sequel built around the idea of "More". More action! More robots! More explosions! Also, More bad reviews! than the first one, yet it made More money! virtually assuring there will be More Transformers! in the future.

While the guys are salivating over Autobots and Decepticons, the ladies can grab Cheri, which reunited Michelle Pfeiffer with Dangerous Liasons director Stephen Frears in another period piece where fifty and fabulous Pfeiffer shows young Rupert Friend how to treat a lady. Lucky lad.
