Comedies, romantic and absurdist, lead off this week's roundup of DVD releases in the FOXLight.

On the romantic side, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past has Matthew McConaughey as a celebrity photog whose callous approach to loving and leaving prompts a visit from the ghosts of his former girlfriends, lead by Jennifer Garner, to show him the errors of his ways. Also starring Breckin Meyer, and in a pseudo Fatal Attraction reunion, Anne Archer and Michael Douglas.

And if Paul Blart was the lovable, huggable mall cop, Seth Rogen's Ronnie Barnhardt is his bizarro-twin in Observe and Report. Rogen's dark and delusional take as a mall cop bent on nabbing a flasher in the hopes of defeating real cop Ray Liotta, and winning dream girl Anna Faris in the process, is indeed the sunny Blart's polar opposite.
