What's hot this very minute? Remembering Sept 11th. Under gray skies,  memorials at the World Trade Center site, at the Pentagon and at the crash site of United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania all took place Friday morning. Eight years since 9-11, the memorials served to both grieve for and remember those who lost their lives.  President Obama spoke at the Pentagon. Twitter had many tweeting simple patriotic sentiments, like God Bless America.

Hot twoppic of the day is the Coast Guard who was criticized after a training exercise was conducted on the Potomac River near bridge where Obama's motorcade had passed.  There were rumors shots were fired.  The Coast Guard later clarified.

Your hot twoppic of the week is Jay-Z. Today, the rapper  will perform a tribute show at Madison Square Garden. All proceeds will be donated to the New York Police & Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund.
