Senator Barack Obama just can't seem to catch a break. He was having breakfast the other day in Scranton, Pa. at a place called the Glider Diner. He ordered a plate of the waffles and sausage -- one of their more popular breakfast items from what I hear.

I never took Senator Obama for a waffle guy. I wonder if he likes Mrs. Butterworth?

It turns out Senator Obama wasn't able to finish his meal -- leaving a half eaten waffle and some of the sausage on his plate.

Instead of tossing it in the garbage, a loyal customer came up with a dandy idea --- he asked the owner if he could put the food up for sale on eBay.

Again, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Then, the guy suggested he would donate his earnings to Hillary Clinton's campaign. That set off a firestorm of controversy. The diner was deluged with angry telephone calls and people demanded the Glider Diner remove Obama's breakfast from the Internet.

The owner, fearing the worst, waffled, and had his loyal customer yank the meal from eBay. At one point, bidding had surpassed $20,000.

Now, the Glider Diner has a new problem --- what to do with all those leftovers.
