John Freshwater has drawn a line in the sand.
He's a middle school teacher in Mount Vernon, Ohio. And he's under fire because he keeps a copy of the Ten Commandments and the Holy Bible in his classroom.
He was ordered by his bosses to remove the collage that included the Ten Commandments -- which he did.
But when Mr. Freshwater was directed to hide his Bible from students --- he refused. He told the Associated Press that doing so would infringe hon his rights.
The school district said they don't oppose religion but they are required by the Constitution not to promote any religion over the other.
