If you deny Him he will deny you before the Father…if you don't believe that, then you have real serious problems. To my mind, this simply means we will NOT have to put up with secular humanists in the afterlife, unless you take the tour of Hell, that is.
Nick Wright I doubt you have ever made a serious study of ANY major religion where as I have spent fifteen years in comparative study of a variety of faiths, their sacred texts and the archeology, sociology, historical liturature of each era, etc. – You dont know jack so your comment is nothing more than a fart in a high wind to me. There are other worlds than these – ask Steven Hawking.
C'mon Todd Starnes. You really think Perry is going to see a jump in his dismal poll numbers from that ridiculous ad? Did you not see the proportion of likes vs dislikes on that video? It wasn't even close, 2% like and 98% dislike. I"m telling you this culture war stuff is so 50 years ago. Most Americans do not approve of that type of politics. Face it Todd, you and your ilk are going the way of the dinosaur.
I know. He didn't mention it AT ALL in his silly article yesterday. That Perry ad is being ridiculed on the blogs and on YouTube. Talk about "out of touch" Todd!
Atheists do not care to 'cleanse the nation of christianity' as Starnes has falsely alleged. Have your faith, its your first amendment right. Believe what you want. But keep that shit out of public policy. It has no place there. That is all.
Glenda Smith Its impossible for something that doesn't exist to believe in something. As long as Mr. Starnes is spreading his hatefulness and bigotry, I will be right here to counter it.
I am a Christian and nothing can make me change my mind regarding belief. Even though the Atheists make completely logical points, my faith disallows me to give up. I was taught as a child that there are 4 subjects you NEVER discuss publicly. Politics, Religion, Abortion & Capital Punishment. I was taught that those are completely private matters and usually only cause bad feelings if brought up in discussion. Every problem in the world is a result of religion. Therefore, it should be kept completely out of the public in all forms because every religion has proven that it simply can't be exercised in a responsible manner. Whether God exists or not is not the problem. The problem is the people who insist on injecting their personal beliefs on to others. The most caustic and vile use of religion, in my opinion, is how Republicans love to incorporate it into their politics. This creates a double whammy of idiocy. Freedom OF religion is also just as important as freedom FROM religion. Letting it all hang out in public only causes problems and disagreement. And, Perry's AD is monumentally offensive to me. Comparing Gays in the military to praying in school. What a douchebag. He is a liar, a hypocrite and a closet homo himself. None of these right-wing nutjobs even come close to practicing, much less preaching the actual teachings of Jesus. And, they certainly don't follow his example with their hateful distaste of any one who doesn't agree with them. They think that everyone, by law, should believe the way they do and that goes against the definition of freedom in every way. Why not stop bitching about this perceived assault on Christianity and start practicing it. And, for God sakes all you so-called Christians…………stop espousing your phony support of Israel. You know you don't like the Jews. They aren't "CHRISTIANS". They killed Jesus, remember? I have absolutely no problems with the Jewish religion, but I know that you evangelists do. You only fake support for them because it's expected of Republicans to love Israel and supposedly a Liberal's duty to hate them. Well, I'm about as liberal as it gets, but I'm 100% pro Israel and not for bullshit phony reasons like you conservatives. I'm not just waiting for the rapture so the Christians can go exercise a land grab on Jerusalem – leaving the Jews in the dust to suffer the tribulation because they aren't true Christians. Logical thinking people are on to your sinister agenda and your FAKE love of God's chosen people. Hee hee hee………we're going to go to heaven, but they won't. Atheists are perfectly capable of exercising good moral judgement and common sense without direction from a God – and they do so every day. I have NOTHING against them. I respect their freedom and you fanatics should doing the same.
Todd must have wrote this headline after reading all the love letters I got from believers yesterday lol. Thanks, Todd!

As an American, you have every right to believe such nonsense and fairy tales.

Robert Stewart – Believe what you want. I don't care what you've studied. You know nothing about me. Happy Holidays to you sir.
Robert Stewart Is there intelligent life on these other worlds? Did God create that life? Just wondering
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas.
Nick Wright So do you! You forget….WE DON'T BELIEVE IN YOUR NONSENSE EITHER!

Nope. Don't remember that because it isn't true. We have always had atheists in the military. I know several who were in Afghanistan with me.

You may say Todd is out of touch, but guess what…you were caught watching.

Yes…like it's hard to avert your eyes from a train wreck
Yep, I enjoy correcting falsehoods in the conservative media.
