I spoke my piece during the Republican presidential primaries. I went on the record warning that Mitt Romney was the worst possible nominee.
He was a man whose values and policies were built on shifting sand. He gave us mixed messages on issues like gay marriage and abortion.
And then there was RomneyCare — the grandfather of ObamaCare.
But when Romney won the nomination I held my tongue – knowing the only thing worse was a second term of the Obama administration.
His campaign was a series of missteps and missed opportunities — throwing pro-life candidates under his campaign bus, refusing to get tough when he needed to get tough.
He never truly connected with conservative voters and at the end of the day the voters had their say.
Barack Hussein Obama has won reelection.
May God have mercy on our nation.
