New York Congressman Charlie Rangel has launched an uncivil war of words against the Southern states.
He says the North is more progressive – and the Southern states have a culture that the rest of the nation has to overcome.
Well, bless his heart.
As we say back home in Memphis — ole Charlie’s porch light is on but nobody’s home.
The Northern mentality of moral superiority never ceases to amaze me. So let’s talk about that progressive culture for a moment.
We have a churches on every street corner. They have Starbucks.
We’ve got song birds and chirping crickets. They’ve got gunfire and sirens.
