The Advocate has endorsed President Obama for re-election calling his support for same-sex marriage a “watershed” moment. The publication made its endorsement with the headline, “In Obama We Trust.”

“Barack Obama is a leader of undeniable accomplishment, vision, and integrity on LGBT rights,” the publication declared. “His opponent Mitt Romney betrays equality on numerous issues and aligns himself with a faction of the Republican Party that does not include equality among its declared ideals.”

“The president’s statement of May 9, unequivocally in favor of marriage equality, along with his record on LGBT rights, has distinguished him for the ages and has made it clear that he is a transformational leader and our best choice for president,” they wrote.

"In McKenyan I laugh……hysterically". Trusting the Usurper, Apologist, Commie, and Coward-in-Chief, aka Saint Barry the Bailer, is like trusting government to handle "all" our needs when over 3 years of gloom on top of gloom is otherwise proof enough. Heavens forbid that they put his mug on Mt Rushmore, but a more appropriate place for it is on a mountain near me called Mount Diablo, here in the mostly socialist People's Republik of Kalifornia. And diablo is spanish for the Devil.

  2. You know what you a missing about this whole issue are a couple things. Mainly though, I think you are absolutely insane to Want to be recognized by the federal gov't or Any gov't at all. Why would anyone or group of individuals Want to have a designation by gov't? The only thing a designation gets you is the gov't paying closer attention to what you do, demanding more from you in fees, fines, penalties, registrations, and so on and on. You should be thankful there is no carved out spot for you in the Title 26 internal revenue codes. Well, when you get recognized you will learn the hard way. Cause believe me, once they put you into a category officially, there goes even more of your freedom what little is left here in the US. Asking for the federal gov't to become involved in the personal aspects of your life is just plain stupid, besides, where is your pride? I thought gays at least had that. Guess not.
