Republican Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann’s campaign is expressing outrage over an internal CBS memo that they said is proof the network mistreated the Minnesota congresswoman during Saturday night’s CBS News/National Journal Debate.
The email was accidentally sent to the Bachmann campaign by CBS News. The campaign decided to release the email to show what they believe was a planned effort to limit questions to Bachmann.
Here’s a copy of the email — posted on Bachmann’s Facebook page:
Bachmann’s campaign manager blasted CBS for what he called “concrete evidence confirming what every conservative already knows.”
“The liberal mainstream media elites are manipulating the Republican debates by purposely suppressing our conservative message and limiting Michele’s questions,” said campaign manager Keith Nahigian. “We need to show the liberal media elite that we won’t stand for this outrageous manipulation. Help us fight this affront by sharing this with your friends.”
A CBS spokesperson released a statement to Fox News stating: “It was a candid exchange about the reality of the circumstances — Bachmann remains at 4% in the polls.”
Congressman Ron Paul’s team was also upset with the lack of air time during the CBS debate.
“CBS’s treatment of Congressman Paul is disgraceful, especially given that tonight’s debate centered on foreign policy and national security,” wrote Gary Howard, Paul’s national campaign chairman. “Congressman Paul was only allocated 90 seconds of speaking in one televised hour.”
“CBS News, in their arrogance, may think they can choose the next president,” Howard said. “Fortunately, the people of Iowa, New Hampshire and across America get to vote and not the media elites.”

CBS was disgraceful in all of the coverage but Paul is a flake believing Iran is not a danger to the West. He has some good economic ideas, but is totally unrealistic, i believe.
The Liberal Elite media is a disgrace and an embarrassment to this country. Intelligent Americans will not be manipulated. They think they are smarter and better, but they are not. Obama is proof positive.
The media elite WANT Romney to win because they know he cannot beat Obama with all his flip flops and RomneyCare. Don't let it happen. Get everyone you know to the caucuses and primaries to vote for Ron Paul.
I love Ron Paul but he's for the legalization of drugs and removing troops from all war zones. He needs to run as an independent as there is no way he will ever get the republican nomination. Romney will be the nomination and to be honest i think he has the best chance of winning the undecided/independant vote.

it could be that they don't take her as a contender for the title, I don't.
Whether they are anyone else sees her as a contender is irrelevant. The purpose of a debate is so that citizens WHO HAVEN'T DECIDED can hear the views of ALL the candidates and compare them. If you have already decided, you didn't need to watch the debate. Some of us who haven't decided would have liked to have heard the views of all the candidates.

Stop doing debates on liberal sites. It is a joke. It is always about the "gotcha" moments. Do what Newt/Herman did with their one-on-one. The people learn SO much more.

I am truly shocked.I was sure All Bama Channel, Nother Bama Channel, and Consistent Obama Channel would remain factual and unbiased.
You know, I find myself not to bothered by this, she really has no chance of being president, and selling books is not that important.
Ron Paul should be happy he only spoke for 90 seconds in a foreign policy debate. His views on this topic are what frighten most Republican primary voters.
Mrs. Bachmann didn't say a thing when Ron Paul was overlooked at debates over and over again. Now she's acting upset. Well, she played along with bias all along, so I don't think she has a right to be upset.

The shocking email provided to the public today is a blatant example of the liberal press trying to manipulate the American voter. It is reminiscent of the shameful propaganda used by Adolph Hitler in his rise to power. We have to stop these slanted, distorted, one-sided, polemical, partisan, extremist or we will be faced with a take over of this country by the "Obama Party".
CBS has a problem , people to watch a production that is fixed , each one of the candidates.
