American taxpayers could be forced to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to cover the costs of President Obama’s new immigration policy – including footing the bill for illegal immigrant application fees, according to internal Dept. of Homeland Security documents.
The president’s policy goes into effect next week and is expected to cost taxpayers more than $350 million to implement in just the first year, according to an analysis from Sen. Jeff Sessions’ office. And that amount could increase substantially depending on the number of illegals who might apply.

The documents reveal DHS is expected to hire 1,569 full-time workers – in addition to contractors who will be responsible for taking deferred action requests and running background checks, according to Sessions’ office.
The Obama administration has publicly said they expected about 800,000 illegals to apply for deferred action during the first year of implementation.
However, according to DHS documents, the government actually expects 1,041,300 illegals to apply.
That’s because the administration has expanded the pool of eligible applicants. Initially, illegals were required to have graduated from an American high school or earned a GED. But now the government will allow applicants so long as they re-enroll in school by the date of their application.
Less than ten percent of the new employees will be hired to detect fraud – one for every 8,010 applications.
While DHS said the illegal immigrants will be required to pay fees, they said illegals will also be allowed to apply for fee exemptions. Those fee exemptions could cost taxpayers as much as $121 million.
Two Republican lawmakers have sent a letter to DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano expressing their concerns about the costs of the program. Rep. Lamar Smith R-TX and Sen. Charles Grassley R-IA said the plan puts the interest of illegal immigrants ahead of the interests of legal immigrants and American taxpayers.
“It is an additional insult to make U.S. taxpayers foot the bill for this massive amnesty program,” the lawmakers wrote. “We deserve honesty and accountability, and seek to ensure that legal immigrants and taxpayers will not be hurt by this faulty plan.”
And those aren’t the only concerns voiced by lawmakers. U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions R-AL warned that President Obama has “capitulated to lawlessness” and put public safety in jeopardy.
“It is a direct threat to the rule of law and to the demonstrated desire of the American people for a lawful system of immigration,” Sessions said. “I believe this administration has utilized this policy to basically undermine and negate the ability of law enforcement officers to do what they have been hired and paid to do.”
The Obama administration will also allow illegals with felony convictions into the country. And in a stunning development, aliens who have been convicted of crimes under “state immigration laws” may be granted deferred action.
Sessions told Fox News that according to his understanding of the implementation documents, aliens who are using stolen or fraudulent Social Security numbers in order to gain employment will not be charged with a crime.
“Individuals who assert they are under thirty are eligible for work authorization and legal status,” he said. “And while the administration purports that applicants for amnesty must have entered the country prior to the age of 16, it is a completely unenforceable and unverifiable standard. It will have a dramatic and adverse effect on ordinary enforcement activities.”

I object to my tax dollars being used to benefit illegal immigrants, period. Those that have done the proper thing and came here legally, more power to you…as long as you learn the language, the customs and do not try to make US citizens conform to your former country way of life. If your former country is so great, go back there!

Many of those are 1000.00 a week jobs! Who do you think made the beds and mowed the lawns before illegals? AMERICANS did those jobs! They used those jobs to buy homes and raise families. They want you to believe illegals are all picking fruit for 10.00 a day or mowing lawns for 20.00 a day…. again BS. They are purposely raping our system. I personaly know 2 ladies who are owner operators of … We call them taco trucks. They use lonestar cards (food stamps) to buy the meat and products for thier business. It's a cash business. They neither collect or pay a dime in taxes! Both families live in a nicier home , Drive better vehicles than I do….All while collecting government assistance. Food stamps , Free lunch programs , School supplies , The works. While you and me are out here busting our butt 60 hours a week paying for it. This is the 3rd world culture and mind set we have imported. We cant stand much more of this folks. This country will buckle under the strain.

Any civilized country, Illegal immigrants belong in deportation center or integrated in society. Only America let them(illegal immigrants) work because this country need cheap labor. Obama's deferred deportation program proof of it. American only need young aliens. America have the obligation send all illegal aliens to there country or keep them in deportation center.
I've been researching this all morning long and have not found in any history of executive orders that cost money without being approved by Congress. What happened to the Congress power of the purse without the power of the purse and not anyone in Congress with the guts to deny it at HLS and have the President needs to get mental help and be approved by doctors to run this country. I would put up with Biden until this Executive order is squashed like Truman's going to the Supreme Court over the Steel Mills. The Supreme court overruled the Executive Order. Clinton used the Executive order for Kosovo, it may have cost money for th bomb, but that could be consedered a Military Exercise. Obama's move is in complete and utter disrespect for the rule of law and of our Governmental system. Oh I forgot he is a global President and what he did with the immigration policy is legal under International Law. I say Obama gets impeached or the process started and we should severe all ties with the United Nations and Kick them out of New York.

I want to start off by educating you a little bit about who pays taxes in this country, you all legal ignorant people. Illegal immigrants receive by the IRS an identification number called ITIN, that allows undocumented individuals to pay taxes every year just like everyone else. Also, not everybody that is here illegally crossed the Mexican border as many of you have mentioned. People (including Mexicans)can also get here with a Visa just like many of your ancestors did and stayed after their Visa expired, and that's how they became illegal. I bet that your ancestors were illegal while they were int eh process of becoming legal because there if no Visa that allows anyone to stay in a foreign country for 5 consecutive years.
Secondly, as far as I know illegal immigrants don't qualify for any type of government assistance such as food stamps, financial aid, welfare, medicaid, medicare, unemployment, etc. So who are the ones abusing the tax payer's money, illegal immigrants or those that sit on their asses at home collecting government assistance? Now, when an illegal immigrant goes to college, he/she pays out of his/her own pocket for tuition, books, and any other extra fees and on top of that they pay 3 times more than what a legal student would pay. So who is abusing who? Not to mention that every year when illegal immigrants pay taxes, they are also contributing to the education of all of your "legal children," and they are also contributing so that your lazy ass "legal taxpayers" can stay home taking advantage of the government assistance and they never complain about it, do they?

All of you who claim that illegal immigrants (undocumented people, new to the country, perhaps with no college education, and no English language skills) are stealing your jobs, you should be ashamed to say that because that only tells me that even your own "legal fellows" know that laziness does not equal illegal immigrants and at the end they pick who ever one is better. Sorry, don't be mad because they never choose you! By the way, if you are competing for a job against somebody with no education, an illegal status, and no English skills, and he still gets the position over you, then that tells me that someone that claims to be a USA citizen and has all the opportunities in the world to make something for himself, has been sitting on his lazy ass doing nothing but complaining about those that have been working their asses off day and night to contribute to the economy of this country, because whether you like it or not, whether you know it or not, illegal immigrants do contribute to the economy of this country, while most of the "legal individuals" are sitting on their American, Asian, Hispanic, legal asses doing nothing.
For those that like to be doing researches about illegal immigrants, why don't you research your own legal fellows? You will be surprise to find out who are the ones really taking your tax money.
It is true that anyone is the process of legalizing their status should pay out of their own pockets. This is why each one of these applicants are paying a $500 fee to the DHS plus their lawyer's fee. Now, if you are not happy about it, then the "illegal immigrants" as you all call them, are not the ones you should be talking nonsense to. Complain to the Obama administration. They set the price and this people are paying it. So stop talking s..t about people that work hard for their families and this country.
And just like Americans have the right to fight for what they want do does anybody else and if many of you are in favor of legal immigration, this is your dream come true!
