The Romney campaign said they get it. They said Gov. Mitt Romney understands that American taxpayers are fed up with politicans who refuse to get spending under control.
“Our spending problem, although President Obama made it a lot worse, is a problem that both Republicans and Democrats have contributed to over history,” said Lanhee Chen, Romney’s policy director.
“People should look at Mitt Romney’s record to understand what he’s going to do,” he said.
