You won’t believe this, folks — an Obama mural is painted on the wall of a polling station in Philadelphia. This photo was taken by Tim Miller and posted on his Twitter account. The polling station is reportedly in the 35th Ward, the D-18 Franklin School.

Shannon Royer, the deputy secretary of the Commonwealth, told Fox News he is livid over the mural.
“It is an absolute disgrace,” Royer said. “Election materials and electioneering inside the polling place are prohibited by state law. This can be interpreted as trying to influence voters indie the polling place.”
Royer said talks are under way to cover the mural.

That definitely should have been covered, or an alternate location should have been chosen. There was a sign clearly stating there could be no partisan representation in the form of what we wear in there, but common sense says that should extend to what's already in there, too. I can understand an actual photo of the president on the wall as you see in so many government institutions, but this is much more than that.

She was required to cover her "Christian" shirt before she could vote. Yet a bigger than life-size portrait of one of the candidates is allowed in the ballot room at the polls. The poll "intimidators" are back too –in OH and PA, just like before. Nothing happend to the New Black Panthers last time, so why not? Nothing happened to anyone in Fast and Furious, so why will anything change to keep our border agents safer? Nothing has happened with the murder of Americans at their own embassy in Bhengazi, and, nothing happened each time this President lied to us. Nothing is happening with the voting machines that somehow "jump" from a the vost cast for Romney to an Obama vote (but we don't hear of the reverse happening??), nothing happens when the President spends our tax dollars paying off those business people who paid to put him in the white house under the guise of "Green Projects." Nothing happend when dozens of people were gunned down and/or killed on our military base in Texas by a radical Muslim terrorist. He's having a civilian trial and lots of head shrinking. Nothing happened when the attempt to "save the car industry" meant spending 3 times more than a car is worth to build it (remember it's all our money). And nothing happened when Obamacare was created in secret and passed only by political payoffs using our tax money; and, when the deciding vote was made by an indicted lawmaker charged with 4 felonies– a man who happened to "get off" to make the dicding vote just in the nick of time due to so-called DOJ "misconduct." The media and citizens who support Obama (including the schools, polling offices as in this disgusting display of flagrant arrogance) are completely narcissistic in their way of thinking, and they know nothing will happen no matter what they do. That's how it's been in America under this leadership and how it will continue as long as Obama is President. One thing is for sure– you can't count on anything that is traditional America anymore. And at no time has the morale of this nation been this low. This President has taught us to hate the successful, to hate the money industry, to hate the other political side and to hate our own country. In this regime of hate, he asked you to vote out of revenge, not out of love of country. The frustrating part is that the people who would rather be dead than be wrong about the President are the ones who will case the mass suffering we will experince under 4 more years . Desperate idiotic people will do desperate things to ensure their choice, McKenyan", gets elected. Id hate to see the integrity of the voting process give way to intimidation and voter fraud, but I fear thats whats going to continue to happen in future election, and possibly on a larger scale than now. Its as if the left is playing dirty to solidify its power and have a solid hold on the future. Like the saying goes, "Power corrupts". I have two huge issues with this! First, obviously this mural was on the wall prior to election day IN a school. Second, it should have been covered! No coincidence that the voting booths were placed in direct proximity. You have the Black Panthers outside and this illegality inside. Could they be more obvious?

I thought ANY voting propoganda or anything remotely linked to either candidates, Presidential or otherwise had to be away from the polling places by 100 feet? I got two things of literature handed to me on my way into vote and was putting them in my purse when the ladies quickly snatched them out of my hands and told me they were NOT allowed inside. How is this legal?

The guy out front makes me more mad though. The mural is a pic of the Presidnet and not likely to influence a vote being as it is an inanimate object (though the law is clear and it is illegal in a voting station). The Black Panther is another story. That's intimidation and I don't like folks who try to intimidate others.

The Philadelphia polling station violation needs immediate action. This is a direct violation of PA Electin law. CALL The Philadelphia DA to complain: 215 686-9641. DO IT NOW I registered a phone complaint… FOX News needs to send a camera crew to the poll and to the DA.

It's not about the quote that's on the wall…….. It's about the fact that it is AGAINST THE LAW to have campaign ads, flyers, posters…….. ANYTHING showing preference for a particular candidate inside the voting location! Not to mention the fact that this HAD to have been put there long before election day. AND it's in a public school. If I were a parent of a kid in that school, I would be OUTRAGED.

GET A GRIP PEOPLE…..don't know what this facility is used for during the other 364 days a year…but it is OBVIOUS that this mural has been in place for awhile…was NOT put up just for today…and IF THE LOCAL REPUBLICANS OBJECTED…WHY DIDN'T THEY DO SO BEFORE TODAY….WHY DIDN'T THEY CHANGE THE POLLING/VOTING LOCATION! Absolutely unbelievable. When I voted last week, there were signs everywhere that clearly stated "no campaign signs or materials beyond this point." And my friend Stacey Capps noted that when she was at the polls, an elderly lady with an oxygen tank was asked to cover her shirt with a sweater that had a subtle reference to a candidate on it. The lady happily obliged but the point is that they are adamant about it and expect everybody to abide by it. How in the world there could be a huge mural painted with Obama's picture and a quote with his NAME on it INSIDE the actual voting poll location is beyond me. And furthermore, if this were my child's school, I would be LIVID. As Stacey mentioned, that obviously means that it was painted on that wall INSIDE that school long before election day. Wonder how this would have been handled if the tables had been turned and there was a big photo of Romney in a local school…….
