American must understand that she needs Muslims.
THE CONGRESSMAN — WHO HAPPENS TO BE A MUSLIM –
SAID THE NATION’S PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM SHOULD BE MODELED AFTER ISLAMIC SCHOOLS.

This is an insanely asinine idea. Oh where oh where is the church/state crowd on this? Oh where oh where can they be?
Why do you think the church/state crowd is not following this? OH, I know, you follow the conspiracy theory that church state is only about persecuting christianity…you think I want my children going to a madrassa? Hell no…I oppose this.

I dont subscribe to any conspiracy theories unlike some people who claim to know the Constitution intimately in regards to religious liberty.
Thomas Jefferson made it very clear what the first amendment was regarding religion. A "wall of seperation". Are you suggesting i should take anyone elses view about it?
I'm equally against promoting christianity or islam in public schools. Any religion for that matter.
Thing is, this country is currently faced with a larger segment of the population who wants to impose christianity. Islam is such a small portion of the population in the USA.

Off topic, you said "Hell no" in your first post. I didn't know that the term that religious people believe in is suddently part of the athiest vernacular. How intriguing. As far as so called conspiracy theories are concerned, which I do not subscribe to, the point in my sarcastic response was that you try and not pretend that you're an expert on religious liberty based on a few words of your favorite quote that is no where in the Constittution, unless you have credentials to prove that you're a constitutional expert on things.

You can't pray to God in schools, or have the 10 commandments displayed in front of a courthouse, but teaching the Koran is okay, as opposed to the bible. Tell the congressman that open season on Christianity is over. Oh yeah, and to kindly get stuffed.
Yep, here we go again!! Everyone is yelling and yammering about keeping church and state separate, as if it was in the Constitution!!!! Yet, we want to make Madrassas and the Koran that which we model schools by? While at the same time we have lost THOUSANDS of soldiers and civilians to Islamic Terrorists.
Usually when someone attacks you, you defend yourself!!!! But, we are just asking that they join our communities with open arms….. traa laa laaa, these guys need to unplug their heads!
You can pray to God in schools all you want, you just can't have the state pay the teachers to lead it.
You can display the 10 commandments at the courthouse as long as it is part of an inclusive display.
Nobody is teaching the Koran in public schools.

"Separation of Church and State" appears NOWHERE in the Constitution. Jefferson used the phrase in a letter to the Danbury Baptists, who were afraid of state meddling in their affairs.
No one should be excluded? GREAT..I want the state to pay teachers that there is no God….dont exclude atheism…if Christians can get what they want, so can us atheists.
What I'm trying to say, is have different schools. Does everything have to be spelled out? Have a non-religious schools, religious schools, give everyone a choice where they want to go. Are you old enough to remember tech schools where you had a choice to go for specific courses? Same thing. Whatever. You can please some of the people…..yadda, yadda, yadda.

Day by day the picture (in Blu-Ray) is emerging how the Antichrist will be Islamic and there will be a strong Islamic influence in America. I thank God I will be raptured by then.
