MONTREAT, N.C. – The following statement was issued today by Billy Graham:
“I want to express my support for my good friends Truett Cathy and his son Dan Cathy, and for their strong stand for the Christian faith. I’ve known their family for many years and have watched them grow Chick-fil-A into one of the best businesses in America while never compromising their values. Chick-fil-A serves each of its customers with excellence, and treats everyone like a neighbor. It’s easy to see why Chick-fil-A has become so popular across America.
Each generation faces different issues and challenges, but our standard must always be measured by God’s word. I appreciate the Cathy family’s public support for God’s definition of marriage.
I also appreciate Governor Mike Huckabee’s leadership and for encouraging Americans to support Chick-fil-A on August 1. As the son of a dairy farmer who milked many a cow, I plan to ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ and show my support by visiting Chick-fil-A next Wednesday.”
Billy Graham is a strong advocate for the biblical definition of marriage and recently stated his public support for the marriage amendment in his home state of North Carolina, which voters resoundingly passed on May 8.

How many more behaviors that you all consider unchristian would you all like to ban/outlaw? Many of us don't care about your christian values. Much more importantly, we don't wish to impose any of our values on any of you.
Conversely, when a person says they support the bible's definition of marriage it really means they're anti gay marriage. In other words, they wish to impose their own values on others.
I see a lot of praise on here for Chic Fil A standing up for their values and beliefs. Somehow, though when the Hensen company exercised their right to stand up for what they believe it's an attack!
Your beliefs do NOT give you license to point fingers or judge..lest yes be judged ofcourse.
I don't think companies should support either position. Business should not be involved in political decisions relating to social issues such as these. Chick-fil-A should just make sandwiches. That's why people go there. If they decide to get involved in politics like this, I think they should accept the possible repercussions. The point here is, most people today support marriage equality and Chick-fil-A is advocating that the government keep those rights away. All they want is the same tax treatment that most couples enjoy. They aren't forcing you to be gay and they aren't taking away your religious freedoms. They just want equality. I support the ban on Chick-fil-A.

It's becoming more evident that the secular-progressives are coming closer and closer to awakening the "sleeping giant" that represents the Christian communities within our country; it will not be a pretty sight when we finally start standing firm on our traditional values and live our lives according to God's word, not mankind's. Bless you, Billy Graham; you're a pillar of strength for so many of us who willingly struggle to live Christ-like lives with His Word and Commandments.
We have to stand for what is God's way, not man's way, no matter how unpopular it seems.

PS – Since Christians are commanded to ask God to send severe judgment on persons who commit and support the worst forms of evil (see I Cor. 5 and note "taken away"), Christians everywhere should constantly pray that the Lord will soon "take away" or at least overthrow all US leaders who continue to sear their conscience and arrogantly trample the God-given rights of the majority including the rights of the unborn. Do we need a second American Revolution?
