A top Obama campaign official accused the Romney campaign of trying to buy the election.

“Listen, I’ll be blunt,” wrote David Axelrod in an email to their supporters. “They are trying to buy this election, and we’re the only ones who are standing in their way. Don’t wait any longer to take ownership of this campaign.”

Axelrod blasting the Romney campaign for taking out television advertisements.

“That’s been the other side’s strategy from the beginning: slamming the airwaves with ads trashing the President and his record,” he wrote.

OooooK. Well isn't McKenyan doing the same with the 1% Holy-wood elite? It sounds as if that after 5 days out from the first debate, the Party of the Jackass are worried and desperate after that "Pearl Harbor" job meted out on their boy.

A55-hole-Rod seems like his willing to say anything short of proclaiming "the sky is falling!".

  3. Hasn't the Obama campaign out spent the Romney campaign nearly 2 to 1? Especially in swing states. Didn't the Obama campaign break a fundraising record in September? These guys don't know the truth.

  4. Axlerod ought to know about buying elections.

Does the name George Soros ring a bell.
He's spent $8 Billion buying elections, with a large portion of that in the US.

Oh that George Sore-a55 is a very very bad boy commie. I just wonder everyday that if he's a wanted man in Europe or wherever, why in the name of hell has he not been extradited back???

Thank God for blessed George Soros. A true American with the right priorities!

  5. If this was a retail store, I'd rather have an honest customer trying to buy something rather than a dishonest one trying to steal it! This is what Obama's people are up to:

  6. Besides which, if Obama's out to steal the election what's all the fundraising for?

Could be his secret tax free retirement fund that'll be put away in a Swiss bank account.

  7. Has any truth came from the whitehouse under Obama?

  8. can I afford the drugs thi sman is on? I hope so. what a freak.

Oh brother, really…."from an email to supporters…" Yeah, I got it; didn't even think twice; "delete". It's a typical campaign rhetoric slogan that tries to raise money. BIG DEAL. I'm sure the Republicans aren't trying the same tactic; no, not the Big Money, Big Business Republicans! Couldn't be!

you know that granny warren is getting campaign bucks from soros.

  11. Good grief, Charlie Bown! I live in Ohio, and I see about six pro-Obama commericals to every one for Romney. Been that way for weeks. Ax is such a liar. The really sad thing, and Ax knows this, is that if you say a thing loud enough and long enough, people will believe it. :-(

  13. Has anyone ever noticed how much David Axlerod favor's Hitler? This man scares me with never wavering to stand and tromp on our constitutional right's!

For a second there I was shocked. I had to read the article twice to make sure it said what I thought it said. I believe David Axelrod is under the misguided delusion that, as Romney pointed out as a false belief during the first Presidential debate, repeating the same thing over and over will somehow make it true. Some of the others commenting here today have already stated that Obama has spent nearly twice as much on negative ads as Romney has spent on ALL his TV ads. Wake the **** up, Mr. Axelrod! Governor Romney's not the one handing out phones and food stamps at a record pace!
