I’m just about ready to throw in the towel with the Republican Party.
Karl Rove was on our network the other day warning his party not to go after Hillary Clinton. The former adviser to the Bush Administration told Fox News Sunday it would be a mistake to bring up her checkered past.
“It’s more important to say what you’re for,” Rove said.. “Anyone taking on Hillary Clinton — Democrat or Republican — had better focus on what they’re for to contrast implicitly against Hillary.”
I’m all but certain the Grand Old Party will heed Rove’s advice – because it worked so well back in 2008 and 2012.
Even some folks in the Tea Party crowd are growing a bit tepid.
Sen. Mike Lee of Utah told Fox News Sunday that even though they believe President Obama abused the government’s separation of powers by making changes to Obamacare, there’s not much they can do about it.
“The president knows this is wrong,” Lee said. ‘What gives him the ability to rewrite the law?”
What gives him the ability? What gives him the ability?
How about an opposition party that has neither the stomach nor the man-parts to challenge the president? There’s not a back bone in the bunch!
Try standing up to President Obama — instead of bending over.
