My sweet friend, Pat Marshall, sent this recipe to me several years ago. The blend of flavors and textures is amazing. It’s become a favorite at our house and I’ve never served this grape salad for company without receiving rave reviews and requests for the recipe. I hope your family enjoys it!

 Grape Salad

Ingredients:

8 oz. cream cheese (softened)Grape

8 oz. sour cream

½ cup granulated sugar

4 cups (about 1½-2 pounds) red grapes

4 cups (about 1½-2 pounds) green grapes

½ cup light brown sugar

1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and granulated sugar until all is well blended. Wash the grapes well. Let them drain and then pat dry. Add the grapes (I cut mine in half if they’re large) and toss to coat in the cream cheese mixture. Transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pecans. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours. Enjoy!

*You can use all red or all green grapes.
