Todd Starnes is a self-professed “gun toting, chicken eating son of a Baptist” whose Dispatches from Bitter America is a collection of stories from his travels across the United States.

In his award-winning, satire-meets-serious writing style, the host of Fox News & Commentary jumps headfirst into the current culture war, taking on the topics that are dear to every American: religion, health care, freedom, country music, barbeque, and so forth. Along the way, he shares exclusive interviews with Sean Hannity, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, cooking sensation Paula Deen, and pop singer Amy Grant, always hoping to go from bitter to better.

  1. Thought it was an actual article. A book. I've got over 450 books in my library. Sorry, don't need another one.

  2. gun-toting christian.. yeah
Jesus, and his followers for 400 years, would not fight for any reason.
now rich(camels) don't want to share their goodies and listen to 2 and 3 time married, all bloated with pride, loud-mouthed, commentators.
boy what a state christianity is in.

  3. oh yeah, paranoia is not love…
    love your enemies.

  4. Looking forward to the book. Truth, honor and ethics….everyone who is complaining should take a look in the mirror. The eyes are the window to your soul!

  5. Just got my advance copy — WONDERFUL! I'm re-reading it again, and then again… AFTER the kids read it. I've been THREATENED if I don't let them read it before your book tour lands here. I keep trying to tell them what it says and then I mess up. No one tells it like you do… just sayin'

  6. Journalists and people who like to dot their I's and cross their T's are going to love this book. TWELVE (12) pages of documentation.
